The Warcry Network has got a reall short <a href=http://www.warcry.com/scripts/columns/view_sectionalt.phtml?site=15&id=252&colid=3099>preview[/url] of Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming sequel to last year's "RP"G megahit, Knights of the Old Republic.

There will be three available Jedi class or track choices at release (details were not forthcoming) each with specific special abilities. Among the new content, there are a number of new feats that players can perform in combat. Just like the original, players can sway to the light or dark side of the force. Each side has alignment specific powers available like the familiar Dark side Force Crush (ala Darth Vader) for example. Even more fascinating is the fact that your alignment, in addition to affecting your NPC out-of-party interactions, will also affect your party members themselves, turning them one way or another.
If they can make NPCs like the ones from Planescape: Torment or Arcanum, that'll be pretty sweet. If they give us more Carth and Bastila, I am gripped by despair.
