    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Archer is weak even having godlike aim (in this game easily accomplished by using a mouse). You're only a forced to be reckoned with if you haven't played classes that actually do damage.

    Diablo IV

Better? It's heading at full speed towards D3 seasons soulless crap. This time with 3-4 production teams instead of a small mentenance crew.

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

Thief and mystic spearhand have no issues with flyers. Probably less hassle than using a bow.

That video looks like self nerfing thief with extra steps.

You can keep shield up forever going shield -> light spending attack ability -> shield -> .... Doesn't even need a "generator". Spam follow to get the pawns near you. The sound/visuals of stacked drake ground bombs detonating are top notch.

It's a you problem. Though the best use of the skill is pulling the target of 2h wars and watch them whiff a long winded attack.

Incline Path of Exile II - isometric souls with loot (beta coming late 2024)

If GGG were following D4 release they know people hate enemies that don't bunch up to get slaughtered. Same for changing gameplay according to enemy abilities, nothing should stand in the way of brainless optimized pew pew.

    Diablo IV

They don't play the same. There aren't enough skills so you get done quite fast with each class, but the classes are quite distinctive in how they play. Considering all your complaints if you tried a melee rogue and compared it with your druid experience you would get quite mad :D

The shield lets your crew manup against anything.

The pathfinding in DD2 is probably more advanced than any tech in the games you mentioned. The last part is also funny in the context of that game list.

Stumbled upon some goblins fighting harpies. I rope one of the harpies and one of the goblins starts pointing and laughing at it. Nice touch.

    Diablo IV

LE is braindead easy until far into endgame.

    Dragon's Dogma II - "They’re masterworks, all – you can’t go wrong"

You would be surprised. Most people can easily tell in a game where you turn camera with the mouse. I have a friend that noticed in doom the monitor is not at 165hz (was on 120) with a fps counter locked to 165 on screen. Thing is... if most games in the genre would run like cs:go/overwatch...

Incline Path of Exile II - isometric souls with loot (beta coming late 2024)

If they spend more time polishing WASD they're gonna realize that it needs more granular movement and turn it into wow control scheme...
