Wut. I stopped playing it because the writing and humor were absolutely dull and ham-fisted.

Then again, the editors voted for the nu-King's Quest instead... And also for Graham as best character. Is Activision sponsoring these awards by any chance?

Glad to see two Myst-likes on the list (if The Witness counts), though I wish Catyph had gotten some recognition too.

Second part is in:
Day Two

Page 8: Best Setting (Samorost 3 / Obduction)
Page 9: Best Graphic Design (Silence / Samorost 3)
Page 10: Best Animation (The Little Acre / King's Quest)
Page 11: Best Music (The Last Guardian / Dreamfall Chapters)
Page 12: Best Acting (King's Quest / King's Quest)
Page 13: Best Sound Effects (Samorost 3 / Samorost 3)
These day's categories are mostly irrelevant, but so far it's been a weird mix of :obviously: and wtf. Just like the Codex's top.

EDIT: Fixed the links (they were broken in the original article).

I thought Candle was quite irritating, with its bad platform parts, its stuff hidden between scenery, and its endless going back and forth.
So, is there a chance that King's Quest is any good if you abstract the name and the legacy ? Or it's shit and adventuregamers too (it often is) ?
