Instead of a reset, how about randomly adding a few posters to every ignore list now and then?

What's more lame: people using ignore or people complaining about people using ignore?

I have noticed that you used to ignore me (for reasons unknown to me) and recently you stopped that (again, the reason is not *known* to me). Why, Metro? Why?

Ignore list is a completely reasonable way of excluding undesirables from one's social circle.

People who don't exclude undesirables are weak and degenerate. They probably take drugs and routinely invite all sorts of criminals and degenerates into their homes and then wonder why their silver cutlery is missing.

Sounds extrovert.

This is a horrid idea. Everyone who voted for this shit deserves to have their tv shows and movies spoiled, and tranny porn posted in their favourite threads. It'll be ok because they can add the offenders to the ignore list after they've been spoiled and been fired for browsing tranny porn at work in for daring to browse a thread about music. Until next month.

Obviously, it's the ability too see other people's ignore lists and who's ignoring you, what's really bothering dickheads who voted yes here. Another one of DU's lulz ideas working as intended, apparently
Please do make transparent and bullshit excuses like "ignoring is for pussy morons!1" etc

Bothering? I'd imagine most people voted yes precisely for the lulz.

Micmu is likely right, though. Don't underestimate the butthurt being able to see who is ignoring you can generate either.

I voted yes because it just seems ridiculous that people need help to ignore posters. If you're that afraid of seeing an opinion you don't agree with, you can just make a mental note of the poster and skip past his posts in the future. Furthermore, ignoring is for pussy morons!1

Yes, lets do something the hard way instead of the technologically assisted easy way.
Do you think we should still farm by hand as well?

I am one of the posters with the most ignores. I don't care about it for a millisecond. 90% of them are members I never even knew to begin with. I never complained about it once, and in fact I never pointed it out at all before.

I don't need the forum software to help me ignore posts.

An ignore forum function is not really a way to help people ignore content. Rather it is just a way to diss people in a passive aggressive manner, which is especially fruity. You know where you stand.
