Gotta admit, this post rating system really is the ultimate dissent quasher. People complaining about a new forum change? BAM! A million racist ratings and slowdowns.

It's brilliant and horrible.

I just spotted the emots and somehow I immediately knew DU had been challenged by another "what's the worse thing he can do to us" antick. Codex... Codex never changes.

After all that happened? After all that has been repeated again and again until only yesmen would still laugh at it?

Taluntain and the other founding fathers entrusting DU with too much E-power back in 2002, expecting everything would be run relatively smoothly, sanely and soundly, and for a while, it did. Back in 2007 it was still mostly like that, with April Fool's happening only on April and amusing rather than trite repetition, but along the following years to this day, something has changed, or the old adage that powers corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely also applies even in the Internets.

With one special detail that makes it truly the worst decision for all time, for like what Paul van Hindenburg allowed to happen in 1933, there is no turning back: it will haunt this place to its death or self-suicide.
