I remember playing this game years ago and thought I would share the link for those who would like to check it out. Its a freeware title that for back in its time gave you so many crazy options and choices :)

You may need DOSBox to run it... Worth a play if you are into games like this! Its challenging and is lots of fun!

I remember the game but I'm not sure if I played it much beyond a brief first try. Seems like an interesting roguelike though.

Its very unforgiving when you begin. You will save and save and save every few seconds. Later on you get into different areas and you encounter WTF moments trying to figure out how it happened and instant death scenarios..

It is unfortunate that this tribute game for it will perhaps never be completed:

Man I would have to play that if it gets done! :)

Nice to hear from Ragnarok (a.k.a. Valhalla), a Dos-RPG from the 90 ties.
Its a roguelike RPG that is relatively unknown but high rated by various people.
I recommend to play the Valhalla version for it has good sound effects which make the game much more atmospheric.
Be sure to get the manual txt because Valhalla has a text copy protection.
Both can be now found on www.old-games.com.

There are gameplay vids on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h6sJf7YMRM

Have fun and HAIL

Grab the Codex by the pussy Divinity: Original Sin Torment: Tides of Numenera Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
That's an interesting looking game. It looks like it has a few influences in it, or maybe it influenced other games. The split screen is rarely used in that way, but it seems familiar to me somehow. The art quality reminds me of Castle of the Winds, also. Great find, and thanks for posting!

Its funny you mention that, I went from playing castle of the winds to this when I had this years ago! Hard to believe this was made by the same company that produced Gears of War and Unreal :)
