Some alert system for pre-occupied avatars would be nice. Only after a year I've realized that my IWD2 dwarf has been used already by another bro registered in 2007, It's quite embarrassing for me. Is there any quick way for verifying which avatars from galleries are still free for use?

You can use Google magic. Search by image -> paste the avatar's URL -> add site:rpgcodex.net to the search query. If there are no results, the avatar should be free.

Started work on a bunch of avatars for the Tactics Ogre PSP remake awhile ago. None of them were 96x96, though, so I have to go through and give them the right aspect ratio. There are more to come, I've just been very busy lately.
