We're entering vapourware territory.

Please consider not abusing the word "vaporware." It has nearly lost its meaning here on the Codex, being used to indicate that a game has been delayed a little too long for someone's taste.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware

It became popular among writers in the industry as a way to describe products they felt took too long to be released.

We've now gone from vaporware being defined as software that never existed at all in any form (or only as fakery) specifically to fool the public, to software that exists (or eventually came to exist) but that took many, many years to be released (Duke Nukem being a prime computer game example), and finally we've arrived at the Codex definition: If it's five months late and/or there's been a lull in developer updates, VAPORWARE!

I propose a new term that doesn't obviate legitimate uses of the word vaporware, such as "impatientware," as in: "I want it now but I can't have it, motherfuck! Fucking shit! Cock! Impatientware alert!".

I've yet to play a single RPG that I supported on KS that was anything beyond "meh" and the ones that I was most hopeful for seem to be dead (Barkley 2, That Which Sleeps).
Huh? What makes you think so? Do you know something we don't? eric__s, any comment?

It's a pretty ambitious project, maybe even one of the most ambitious KS RPGs with the way it advertised its reactivity and evolving world mechanic. I've yet to see a single KS RPG that delivered on any parts of its more ambitious claims in a satisfactory way. Usually what we ended up getting is a game filled with compromises. In the worst of cases the developers would go for full radio silence for a few months and then eventually announce that the project has been put indefinitely on hold.

I've had pretty good luck with kickstarter RPGs, in this case I don't think they are working on it full-time, as opposed to other ones I've backed. So that's probably why it is taking so long.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
This is my most anticipated game of 2016, just for the soundtrack.

What I'm worried most besides it becoming vaporwave is that they'll make the game too combat focused but the combat will be shit. The fact that all of the enemies shown look like generic mutants and not like basketball monsters is already a bad sign.

Hope it'll at least be less tedious to play than LISA
