It can be made to work right but that takes effort, which is something Sierra was somewhat lacking at that point in time.

Speaking of effort, I don't like a single one of Naveen's box covers, except for Ultima Underworld of course (which had been discussed before). They all look exactly the same, convey the same circumstances, with the added malady of Lords of the Realm 2 that the "Sierra logo" takes up too much of the box cover's front.

Oh yeah Sanitarium was a pretty good game. It's on mobile devices now actually.

Never played this game, but I saw the box on Ebay and it looked pretty sweet;

From what I can gather, the game is extremely basic compared to the art.

Ah, Deep Space, my first Amiga game. Pretty sure I bought it just for the box art as the game itself was not very good.

Particularly this one, as coming after Ultima 4 where I had to be a paragon of virtue, seeing this for the first time made me feel like I was really going to kick some arse!

Crystal Dragon on Amiga

Just look at the size of that thing, you really get a sense that it's a huge fucking dragon. And not a small lizard like in some other popular rpg's.
Incidentally it's one of my favorite crawlers on the Amiga.

I always wanted to find out who the artist was for those covers, as I like their work. I see the initials AK but aside from that have no idea. Probably a Japanese artist. Anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps some japanese bros can help us tracking down the full credits or more detailed info? The art really looks like seinen-like productions mixed with some Luis Royo and stuff like that, really cool. I also like how everyone is naked, not just the women. Loincloth of Power +5!
