Camera/Mouse Improvements for Arcanum?

I've started Arcanum a couple of times now and each time I stop. This is mostly because the panning speed of the camera is soooo incredibly slow (I have increased the camera movement so this does matter). Also, the only way I can get my mouse speed to suitable levels is to turn off acceleration, but even then it is still a little slow and jerky. Anyways, are these "issues" normal and is there any way to fix them? Thanks.

Hmm.. I've tried (corrupt save issues) to play this a few times but I've never had a camera problem.

What version do you have. gog, steam? Have you tried to install under admin privilege?

Not sure what else to try... the hi resolution patch maybe?, to fuck with the renderer a bit to try and jarr the engine?

I have the gog version installed. I'm not sure if I have the game under admin privilege. But I do have the hires/widescreen patch installed and working.

Well, inversely, i...t could be the hi-res patch that is screwing with i...t.

Try a fresh install under admin, then keep testing as you add mods.

What the fuck is going on with my posts....

Some asshole hacked the site word filter to replace the word 'I.....T'

EDIT.. dude.. you weren't doing anything better on Christmas day than joining this zoo?
