So what's your username so I can add you to the Codex Superhero League topic's list of people to friend?

Should be in the PM I sent you. But it's @dakorma, which I stole from a bethesda forums troll.

Also, apparently the PM didn't sent and got stuck in the outbox. So I resent it.

So I resent it and it failed again your inbox is likely full. If you've still got that archetype I'll take it.

Both sends were succesful, assuming they were over here. But anyway, next time I log on I'll mail you an unlocked and a few costume pieces. I'll also send you the SG invite, go through our Vault for unlocks you can use.

I haven't had time to play much the last week because I'm trying to teach myself some basic programming and it's eating most of my free-time.

But I'm excited for the new powers. My urge to make a weather-based hero is powerful. Now all I want is plant powers.

Well, it remains to be seen what Earth powers mean in the end. They might wander into Plant territory as well, who knows? They aren't on the Private Test Server yet, and I don't go to PTS anyway.

I've tried to send you a friend invite through the website, but it tells me there is no such user as dakorma.

Professor Congo is being geared, has a new and more effective build, and has a new costume too:

Alright, here the two new teleport powers are. They're come in a two-pack (Electric Teleport). First one is Electric Flash and then there's Electric Arc. Electric Flash's movement is invisible to others, but Arc's movement form can be seen:

Christmas Event starts after today's patch, lasts until New Year. Whiteout's fifth issue (and last, I assume) issue is going live tomorrow. Roin'esh costume set (includes axe and sword hands of some kind, no pics yet) and Become Christmas Critter Bundle (also includes Snowball Roll travel power) coming to C-Store.

EDIT: Pics of the Roin'esh costume pieces. It's a very good set if you're looking for armour pieces/organic stuff (ie, organic weapons):

Hmm reminds me of Guyver.

I find that I get bored of dungeons fairly quickly. I love doing the quests in open areas, but get bored when an entire questline consists of nothing but instanced dungeons which tend to look all the same.

Me too, and judging by the helmet design we were not the only ones.

That's not a big problem until you go into Vibora Bay (not the Queen line, but the real hub at level 36), as the dungeons there are huge and labyrinthine. Vast majority of the game is still in the open world (the only huge exception questlines I can think of are the new Queen City line, which I personally like a lot, and Inglorious Base Deterred in Monster Island). Just as a tip, in the final run (30-40 level range) the best places for leveling up are Lemuria, Canada and Monster Island, in that order. At least in my experience.

Labyrinthine is fine as long as the pathways are obvious. Seriously the indoor maps are total crap. I'd rather have a super basic map consisting of nothing but corridors, rooms and clearly marked doorways, at least I don't have to pixel hunt for what looks like an entrance to the next corridor. It might get easier once I get used to playing a character without flight though. Looks like I'll have to get used to partying with people to get the instances over with faster.

Also, it seems that you can make the visor parts of the Roin'esh armors glow. I've always thought they should screw computer stability and allow people to glow every damn piece. It'd be much more entertaining.

No, you're correct, the indoor maps made before Demonflame are all samey. Luckily there's not that many of them you have to wade through.

You can make many sections of the Roin'esh parts glow, the head has a glowy area as well.

From left to right, my Roin'esh concept armor I cooked up in PTS, the current Vitruvian Mk IV, and my nemesis the evil Crimson Shinobi Princess Akahime.

Would be playing more, but have been running a Rogue Trader game with the friends I normally play this with.

No biggie, you're not the only with problems finding the time. Furious Flaming Faggot has been really busy for the past few months, he hasn't had the time to play CO or update his Aztec LP.

Just waiting for the life time sub. Eagerly awaiting how good this vaunted character creation really is.
