Wait, did Hiver get banned? Why? I always seem to miss these things. He was okay outside of Codex Library and always cracked me up when he'd start raging.

Who is going to LARP him when Game of Thrones comes back?

Are some among us actually trying to get the Codex in good with Obsidian and InXile? I don't think there's really much chance of that without implementation of Vault Dweller's final solution, in the meantime they'll just have to love us for who we are while being ashamed to be seen in public with us.

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
We both know its not even close to the worst shit that is said there. The reason he got the tag was because he was talking against PoE and we both know theres a very strong bias in favor of those two kickstarters.
Yes, i know infinitron wants the codex to keep having (and even improving) good relations with the guys at obs and inxile, but i dont think its worth it if any criticism people makes is met with apologist bullshit, it defeats the purpose of the site.
It isnt even about chaotic or a fucking tag, its about bringing GD bullshit behaviour into GRPG and making sure it dont happen again. As much as i didnt give a shit about lossing hiver, i dont think it was right, i shoulda spoken back then, but i acted like a butthurt asshole because i couldnt stand him.

I am not sure I agree with that Lhynn. The reason is that FeeltheRads, Bonescraper, Haba, and FSM all heavily criticized PoE without receiving a tag. The difference is the volume of the one-liners posts CH could make sometimes. In contrast, Frusciante got a fanboy tag for over-defending PoE's mechanics (unless it was for a different thread). Based on the tagging of CH and Frusciante, I would argue it is more about not going "full retard" than bias in favor of PoE, otherwise Frusciante would not have gotten the fanboy tag.

Not sure if he was ever banned. I know he got tagged. After being prosperised, he pretty much stopped posting.

If its about one-liners jaesun wins the codex. If its about going full retard, ive yet to see chaotic do so. His only fault so far has been being a complete asshole, hammering the same point over and over and over again and again and again like people didnt knew what he thought of sawyer. Hes not dumb, and i dont think his posts are shit for the most part.

This is getting old, but yeah, not even close to full retard by codex standards no matter how you want to spin it. Remember the time those dudes made threads about how JA2 sucks? or that time some lady said that gothic was first person, or Dawn_?

Good times.

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
If its about one-liners jaesun wins the codex. If its about going full retard, ive yet to see chaotic do so. His only fault so far has been being a complete asshole, hammering the same point over and over and over again and again and again like people didnt knew what he thought of sawyer. Hes not dumb, and i dont think his posts are shit for the most part.
I do not think CH is stupid either, but he made a large volume of one-liners that were repetitive and arguably did not add much that we did not already know. As you said yourself, he kept hammering the same point over and over in a 200 page thread, and he often just tried to get a rise out of some posters. CH, as well as Frusciante, just went too far. I am not sure CH deserves the shitposter tag, but after 200 pages of the PoE thread, I cannot say I am surprised that he got rebuked or tagged.

Regardless of the whether the tag fits, I do not think CH was tagged out of some concerted effort to shield PoE from codex criticism. Otherwise, more posters would have a tag by now, and Frusciante would not have a tag.

I don't really think that either, but at the time it was mentioned that VoD apparently gave Frusciante his tag, not the mods involved in lobbying for CH to be dealt with. If nothing else I guess this illustrates that the staff are varied in their tastes and favourites which is the best you can hope for on a forum really.

City of God and Elite Squad: Enemy Within were great movies, so Brazil isn't full retard.
