Picking developers for customized usb drives? Are you guys insane?

This will not end well.

(Original idea by Curious_Tongue: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?members/racofer.9311/#profile-post-4441)

Game developers have lives and prospects.

I thought it was more likely that a codexer was going to be bored and lonely enough to have an awkward emergency room visit with one of these.

Codex USB, 2014
It seems Sawyer has lost a lot of love with his anti-IE shenanigans. Fenstermaker is simply not very well-known.

I voted for Davis, Fargo, McComb, Ziets, Swen, Whalenought and MCA. I think they're the ones who would appreciate it the most, and maybe share it with the world.

Send the usb with a printed copy of the bum xray. Let him draw his own conclusions.

Actually, send them to all developers with a print.

X-COM Base
Swen Vincke - because DOS and previous Divinity games.
Chris Avellone - cause fuck you, also Codex
Briang Fargo - because Interplay games and also he hasn't lost his fracking mind (yet) unlike Chris Let's Sale Space Ships Online
Josh Sawyer - because no fun allowed, also roguey...

Awesome idea DU.

Send Todd Howardz - a time machine to bring back Todd from Daggerfall, Morrowind era.
Jake Solomon - a PC, since he confused PC with a Console when he made the new XCOM (retardo)
Rob Pardo - Inquistor Dreadnaught - Mission: Exterminatus!

I will pay for one drive each for Todd and Petey. pm me about payment DarkUnderlord
It's not about payment, it's about not having enough of them. We only ordered 100. To order any more now would mean having to order another 100 minimum.

Then give one of them to Todd which he can share with Petey if he really wants to.

A horse of course

Well, I'll make it simpler then:

Sending one to Avellone is a waste of time - he's basically the Neil DeGrasse Tyson of the gaymin world, i.e. any attention whore of the "LOL I'm such a NURD!1" variety is already sending him several 'k worth of useless shit, so a usb drive is not going to endear us to him.
Sawyer will take one look at the unconventional dimensions of the drive and infer that such an abomination has no place in his perfectly-ordered regime.
Brian Fargo actually has a real job and will throw the package in the trash.
George Ziets has no idea what to do with anything that isn't a hair product.
Fenstermaker and McComb are nobodies (I think Fenstermaker wrote some awful shit in NV but I'm probably mixing him up with the Mexican)
Wormwood Studios don't make RPGs
Whalenaut are yet to ship a finished product
Barkley is unfunny trying-too-hard indie shovelware and is the darling of shittier gaming forums

Therefore Anthony, Swen, Todd and Petey deserve those drives.
