Because we don't have enough threads about popamole acshun games yet.

PC version's out already in Japan (and the open seas), anyone played? From the trailers it seemed like Saints Row's (even more) retarded cousin, but early game at least is free from such retardation.

Only played the first game and enjoyed it lots. Mostly because it loved to surprise you and the boss battles where fun. Tried the second game and while several gameplay elements where improved it also turned into a full on parody. Meh.

Little to no interest in this.

Few hours in, it's pretty fun so far, completely mindless of course. Open world is way better than DR2 was, there can be a fuckton of zombies on screen at once without any FPS hit and even the combo weapons aren't that much more outlandish than in DR2 (some exceptions so far, but no one forces you to use those, fortunately).

Some questionable design choices (you can use the weapon locker to essentially spawn shit now, sure there's a recharging meter so you can't get 100 bazookas at once, but it's not like you need that many at any point), but some things have improved too. Like the survivors, no need to fucking escort them across half the map anymore, they'll handle themselves after you've bailed them out.

I hope there is no stupid time limit to get the vaccine or whatever like there was on 2.

The game would have no focus without it. In theory I thought it was a bad idea but after playing the second I realize that 'sandbox' mode is utterly dull. There are gaps between missions, anyway, where you can look around but there's not that much to find.

People have been unlocking this early on Steam via VPN's and suchlike, and many of them are complaining about poor performance, horrendous load-times (60s+ just to return to the menu!) and constant crashing.

You can read about about this at Neogaf or check the Steam forums to see what people are saying.

Total Biscuit says in a series of consecutive tweets "I can confirm that the people claiming performance is shot to hell on forums are correct. The game runs poorly on my system. The game also suffers serious mouse acceleration issues while in aim mode. SLI support is not available right now either so your second card wont help. I'm going to test it on my second machine today to see if those results continue to be the case. But the game appears poorly optimised. As far as I'm concerned the game is not advanced enough to justify that poor performance. Texture quality is a mess. Even with very few zombies on the screen it's still tanking frames on my PC. I'll try and do a port report today after I make sure it's not just this PC its having problems with."

As always, don't pre-order games and wait for reviews/impressions before buying. At the very least, wait for a patch. This game is currently broken.

So is this actually true or people blowing it out of proportion?

There is, but it seems to be pretty lenient. If you just fuck around and don't stay focused, I suppose you can miss out on some of the sidequests (recruitable survivors for your posse). Not that you really need to collect them all.

So is this actually true or people blowing it out of proportion?

A lot of people have complained about performance issues, but I haven't had any crashes or slowdowns. That is after I disabled the FPS uncapper though, with it on the FPS jumped up and down completely erratically. Maybe it'll get fixed or maybe it won't, but I'd rather have 30 FPS locked for now.

A really shitty port. Wouldn't even pirate it.

And still there were again so many drones that pre-ordered it.
And now they cry. Honestly, it's nearly impossible to buy a shit game in our time. We have YouTube, we have forums with people that know their shit, we have the bay.
But people still listen to "journalists" and sites like IGN. Serves them right.

Any of the owners know if the modding support is true? I think at one point they promised that on top of the game being focused for the pc and not a port.

Yeah I seem to recall the devs saying modders could add stuff like new vehicles and weapons, but guess we'll just have to wait and see. I personally don't know shit about making mods, just using them. I doubt we'll see even a fraction of the mods and modding capabilities that Bethesda's games have, though.

Yea that is why I would like to know as I recall the dev's also saying that they will not make a trash pc port and this game was going to take advantage of all the resources the pc has to offer. I have seen people talk about the engine being the main culprit as it just wasn't built originally for more then 30 fps.

Someone is paying people to write those reviews ? I didn't play the game but after reading it I don't know why exactly it's got so low score. Oh, wait a minute.

The game is saddled with deeply sexist and mean-spirited overtones.

:stupid:

Dead Rising 2 was a mix of a serious business and parody due to diffrent costumes, bosses and weapons. Too bad this one need 64 bit OS and is so power hungry.

I wonder if SJWs will adopt a "no mercy" approach after the whole Zoe scandal.

Looks like the PC version was reviewed by a SJW faggot. Still, love the continuity. Great site!

If they are going to hate one something at least be hoenst about it. In that scene she is taking out of view and when the main hero comes to help she has already fught of the two attacks and rescued here self, but OH BOY IT IS SUPER SEXIST!!!
Or take the lady slut general thing. It's silly and stupid, but so is the male psycho with some kind of ice gun thing that looks like a penis. So it is not sexist it is crass, but it is not sexist.
