RLS becoming more and more demanding for me. If I ever get some free time, I have plenty of games built up I haven't played through yet on the back burner.

I have no faith in thing's in game development getting better, but lemme know if they do.

Abandon Ship and Siralim 3 both look promising. Both are currently in early access though.

Play old games you missed.
Replay classics with mods.
Try indie and homebrew games.
Old console games can also be modded in the form of rom hacks.

That's I've been doing exclusively the past year. Before it was the above + a steady stream of modern AAA, but I can't take the disappointment any more.

If you're seriously not hyped for even 1 of the above games, then you might be depressed and cRPGS are dead to you.

Unavowed - Dave Gilbert's RPG-inspired urban fantasy game.

I would add Hero U too. Looks interesting enough.
Didn't knew about this. Looked it up and I don't know what to think of story, but: 'Combat is turn-based and tactical. If Shawn chooses to sneak around combat situations, the combat is also avoidable.' Yeah, looks like worth checking out when it's released, which should be during this month.

The first four you mention could all be great but we have no clue yet. Havent seen/heard either nothing or very little of those games.

ANY time a modern game is made by more than a handful of people then it is not worth playing. I found that to be a very good rule of thumb.

The real reason modern games are shit is because millennials are degenerate retards with nothing worthwhile to say. A game ONLY has a chance to be good if there are very few of them making the game. Then the game has a slight chance of not being ruined completely by a retard.

This doesn't apply as much to Japanese games because the Japanese are not as degenerate or retarded, although the situation is certainly worsening.

Or make sure that you have at least 1 leader with a strong grip so the game can take a proper direction. Fallout 2 didnt have a proper lead and see what happened with it.
