This game looks fucking great, but I swear to God: Any time a squad-based tactical game or RPG includes a body-part aiming system, you people spurt huge ropes of fucking cum everywhere.

When presented with a squad-based tactical game or RPG, one of the very first questions you tend to ask is: "Can I shoot at individual body parts?" If the answer is no, then the game's clearly too simple and is therefore shit. Doesn't matter what other features it has; if you can't noscope 360 people in the face, clearly it's shit.

I don't get it, at all, particularly since military or paramilitary operatives—INCLUDING SNIPERS—are trained to shoot for center of mass.

Well, carry on.

Because it's cool and f they don't have this level of detail here, there's probably a dozen other things they don't do.

But in JA you could hit body parts but it simply depended on where you positioned the mouse.

End State locations: Brekovia
Brekovia, officially the Republic of Brekovia is a small country in Eastern Europe, bordered by the Black Sea in the east, Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north. The capital city of Brekovia is Stolitsa, located on the western shore of the Black Sea. Brekovia numbers around half million citizens. Brekovian is the official language of Brekovia; its alphabet is Cyrillic. The Brekovian language retains a degree of mutual intelligibility with Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian.

Brekovia is a presidential republic, governed by a president and the and the 120-member Council of the Republic. The president is elected by popular vote to serve a six-year term. The Council of the Republic is elected in administrative districts (oblasts) to serve four-year terms. The government includes a Council of Ministers, headed by the prime minister. It is a member state of the United Nations, and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

Modern Brekovia came into existence after World War I under the name Principality of Brekovia, declaring its independence from the Russian Empire. During World War II, Brekovia was an ally of Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union, fighting side by side with the Wehrmacht. It was captured by the Soviet forces in February–August 1944. Following the war, Brekovia became a socialist republic and member of the Soviet Union as the Brekovian SSR.

Following the dissolution of Soviet Union, the country proclaimed independence in September 1991. In 1992, the former Communist Party secretary Martyn Leonid rose to power. Officially a multiparty democracy, the government continued to be authoritarian, as Leonid maintained a strong influence over the state media and security apparatus.

After presidential elections in June 2010, opposition parties accused Leonid of electoral fraud and Brekovians engaged in large protests against the government. This culminated on August, when thousands of people from all over the country congregated in Stolitsa, forcing Leonid to finally resign in favor of the Agrarian Party candidate Oleg Klim. The current president, elected in June 2016 is Anatoly Vitalik from the Liberal Democratic Party.

After the collapse of Soviet Union, the country experienced economic instability and decline, led in part by an obsolete industrial base and a lack of structural reform due to Leonids isolationist politics. Currently, Brekovia is one of the poorest countries in Europe, followed only by Moldova. President Vitalik has recently started the process to introduce liberal market reforms to its formerly closed economy.

End State characters: Vadim Sokovyz
Don Vadim, aged 54 is the undisputed head of the Brekovian underworld.

Young Vadim Sokovyz pursued a KGB career and eventually reached the rank of major. Under the Leonid rule Sokovyz found many business opportunities to exploit and as long as he kept the politicians on his payroll, he could do whatever he wanted.

In 2010, when he saw the Leonid rule come to end, Sokovyz “retired” from the KGB. He then acquired the old Marinsky mansion and started to rule his mafia empire there, still in close connection with the Brekovian elite.

The mansion

The Marinsky mansion was built by Graf Piotr Marinsky for his younger son Martyn Marinsky and his wife Anna in the late 19th century. After the second world war, the Marinsky family was arrested by Soviets and killed in captivity.

The mansion was confiscated by the government and was later used by a communist party official until the Soviet Union collapsed. Then it was sold to a wealthy Romanian family, who mysteriously disappeared in the early 2000s. The mansion was abandoned for several years until mafia kingpin Vadim Sokovyz acquired it.

See you at Gamescom!

We have been working hard on End State in order to deliver the alpha demo we promised.

In the next week, we will be travelling to the beautiful city of Cologne to participate in Gamescom. Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to show the game in public, but if you are a member of the press, feel free to contact us for a quick show and tell.

If you a just visiting Gamescom, drop us a line via Twitter, Facebook or just send a reply to this email. There are several members of our team, so we might just have some time to hang out with fans and answer all the questions you might have about End State.

:d1p: for sure. I don't mind preordering stuff like Mafia III or the next Call of Duty, but at some point you want a bit of TBS to balance things out.

Brekovian factions - Zadira Bykers.

Several motorcycle clubs in Brekovia began forming out of former military members and Soviet Afghanistan war veterans in the early 90’s. By the fall of Soviet Union, several biker groups were informally consolidated as Zadira Bykers.

In a seemingly legal fashion, the club runs rock clubs, tattoo parlors, and striptease clubs. Many leads, however, suggest, that it’s only a front for an extensive weapon smuggling activity organized by the club president Nikolai Aminov.
