Please tell me you can use Rhinos as ramps for your tanks to jump off of.

That would be amazing.

Oh goodie metal boxes. I dig tryanids are pve fodder, makes sense lore wise. I just hope they don't have the fucking Blood Ravens selectable as one of the expansion chapters. If Vanilla Ice shows up as an NPC, fucking reroll Chaos to bring his skull to Khorne. Indrick Borelale though? Oh yeah, time to play Bluhd Ravens.

I don't think it's Ravens. I think it's black templars and a few other chapters.

I wanna play Orks goddammit.
It would be awesome if your character, as an Ork, increased in size as he leveled up. Being boss would be even more awesome.
Lets face it, DOW's best campaigns are always about Orks, from Gorgutz on to Bludflagg and Mr. Nailbrain, Mr. Spookums and Brikkfist and even Boss Grimskull.

Mr. Nailbrain, status report.

So I have reservations about this game, F2P orks aside.

Reason being, GW's recent videogame licensing has been off the charts bad. It's almost like a conscious effort to destroy their IP's brand recognition.

Add the above to the fact that their last 40k MMO didn't even ship (Dark Millenium Online, lost to the THQ fold), their last WHFB MMORPG just shut down the server farms.

On top of that, like I posted earlier, the only games the developer of Eternal Crusade have shipped have been shovelware. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behaviour_Interactive#Titles this makes this smell like a lowest-bidder contract win, especially in light of the most recent 40k licensed releases which just reek of budget shovelware. This is clearly an incompetent attempt by GW management.

And could anyone tell me why the hell, in the midst of this, GW did not renew Relic's 40k license? Relic successfully shipped 3 40k titles to critical and commercial acclaim including a multiplatform X360/PS3 title, Space Marine, plus 5 Dawn of War 1/2 expansion packs. All of this in the midst of a company (THQ) going bankrupt. And to top it off, Relic just shipped a game successfully in the midst of a publisher closure and a buyout/transition over to SEGA. And the other developer nextdoor at the same publisher (Creative Assembly) has the WHFB license for a Warhammer RTS. It absolutely boggles my mind that GW has not renewed the 40k license to Relic and it frankly reeks of managerial hubris and incompetence.

Also, GW is now shipping the 7th edition of 40k tabletop after a mere 2 years of 6th edition.

GW going more retard than the year before in its miniature strategy is nothing new. Now, they probably did not renew Relic 40K licence because it was an exclusive one, and they want to allow anyone to create 40K games.
I am not sure it means Relic won't have a licence for DoW3. Anyway, given their recent DLC craze with COH2, I'm not sure I would bother anyway.
+ Relic being the sole developer made certain we would never have seen a heir to Chaos Gate or Final Liberation, while now, even though it is still a longshot, there is a small chance for that.
