Extreme measures must be taken: Save the Codex, Ban yourself

Cool, I thought if one person in the list had a sense of integrity it would strangely be you.

I was going to go the same way originally, but I wanted to have a last go at these hypocrites first.

Telling people to 'ban themselves' is lame. It's as lame as VD going psycho with his powers, or the fools who went wild with the site yesterday.

It's more like me saying if I was them I'd ban myself (and I am banning myself). I'm not demanding or even asking that other people ban themselves or telling the mods what to do.

If you want to ban yourself, then do it, and spare us this crappy thread.

I'm doing my public duty. See Aweigh has now decided he wants to be banned immediately - progress has been made (though I like the guy), way more than all your discussion threads put together. I thought you or others might not have considered the possibility.

If you honestly think you are more part of the problem than the solution I think you should ban yourself, at least for a month.

No I'm not going to 'ban myself'. Though I have decided I want to contribute more to the Codex and so I have applied to become a news poster. I also may decide to contribute through reviews as well.

Hmm... OK, we'll see.

If after a month of news posting you discover you haven't changed, then please I'd ask that you consider banning yourself. Don't let yourself think that because you have admin powers or that the site 'needs' you or whatever that you're more worthwhile than when you were a poster.

I might not be as 'worthwhile' a poster as the others here but I'd consider myself a damn sight more worthwhile poster than you. I don't post bullshit threads telling people to ban themselves.

Sorry you feel that way but it's necessary. I'm committed to the Codex Greater Good.

Hey, if it makes you feel any better I asked VD to ban me yesterday, BEFORE the revolution started. I guess with all the shenanigans that went on he didn't get around to it, even though I sent him a bunch of PM's asking him to ban me.

So, to the remaining admins: I am asking you to ban me, please. I don't want to have to make some ridiculous porn-spam post in order to be banned, but I will if nobody bans me by the end of today. Like I told VD, I think I spend too much time on these forums and It's detracting from RL, but I don't have the willpower to leave them. I know there are proxies and crap like that but It's never the same if you can't log back in under your old name, so the ban should be sufficient. If I slip and give in to the temptation to sneak back in under a proxy, for god's sake ban me on sight!
aweigh, for chrissakes stop being such a little pussy. First of all, you don't need to be banned, you need to grow a pair and go out and do what it is you think your intarnetz time is stopping you from doing. Second of all, if/when you succeed, you don't have to try to artificially cut every tie to the place (such as having your account be made unaccessible), which is as extreme as spending TOO much time on it. If you can't find a way to strike a more-acceptable balance on your own, you're going to fail - probably both at your immediate goal, and in the future since you're relying on external circumstances to provide you with the same effects as having a backbone. I'm telling you this because even though you're a bizarre little choad I kind of like you and would prefer to see you advance down a path of strength rather than one of weakness.

Also, these "I'm going to leave buh-bye fuhevah" claims are unmitigatedly gay, since the person almost invariably ends up coming back.

What the fuck is going on here?! It seems some fucktards think that the Codex is their private site.VD may have bad days but he deserves some respect after all he have done. For many ppl VD is a big part of The Codex and an authority if it comes to crpg games, so keep it in mind. I can't belive it's how you solve a problems

You know who's worse than Vault Dweller AND the attention whores?

The posters who encourage this type of behavior.

Lately I wonder whether I accidentally clicked on a hidden button that redirected me to Lame Nerd Soap Opera Codex.

Instead of calling yourselves "patriots" for acting like an asshole in an attempt to be "omg kewl" and get yourself banned, and having the Codex Drama Squad create an "Unban Latest_Asshole" thread, why not simply ignore fucking drama queens? That way, Vault Dweller can get more work done on Age of Decadence and less time dealing with you fuckfaces.

Of course, some of the blame falls on Vault Dweller for (probably unwittingly) encouraging this behavior, which I think started when people complained about Volourn's week-long ban which ended up being only a couple of days and ended up with a special title. But he's not the biggest problem.

Neither, ironically enough, are the attention whores. The only way they succeed in inflaming threads with there crap is because you sit there shouting "MOAR PLZ!" while probably masturbating at the thought of "Plane Tickets, Bitch!"

The Codex is its own worst enemy.

There's too much talk going on while you faggots wait for somebody to repair the mess you've made. It won't solve anything. What the Codex needs is less talk and more action.
I'm noticing your patron tag and thinking, wasn't your dagorkan account dumbfucked or was that just the Sheek one? Otherwise I'd have thought you'd donated to get rid of the dumbfuck tag.

Only Sheek. dagorkan was "formerly known as Sheek", if I recall correctly.
