Bitch, bitch, bitch at XenForo until middle-clicking "reply" opens a new window. Like the questionable filtering order in the RTE, this problem is extremely common... and therefore has umpteen established and proven solutions.

May I ask if getting emails for every post you've created or replied to is still the default on account creation ? because it was on mine and it took a while before I checked my box and realized it got spammed and disabled that stuff in the preferences. It sucks and would probably not be a good idea for the server resources if it happened to a lot of people at the same time.

Getting spammed is never a good idea. I can't think of anyone who would willingly, and not by mistake, activate that feature.
