Russia being one of the largest natural gas suppliers in the world... could only mean that Gas Powered will finally have the resources they need to make not shit games.

Victor's a cool guy, he's a sponsor of tankfest at bovington (working tiger tank etc) and he's funding the spitfire expedition in burma.

I thought they were Belorussians (yes, there is a difference).

It's a world of tanks joke, calling wargaming "the russians" is usually followed by a racist or ignorant remark.

 getting bought by a belarusian f2p crap factory, could there be any worse fate for a gaming company?

Not getting bought by ruskies and having to sell your IP/game rights for pennies on the dollar to Activision/EA to cover closing your company forever?

This is probably better for them than failing or just barely managing to squeak by on the Wildman Kickstarter. And hell, even if they end up making Wildman anyway (Which I don't particularly want or care about but eh) I would imagine they'd be able to do a better job of it now than if they just barely met their Kickstarter goal.

Gaming publishers are probably the only groups in capitalist society able to look at the completely apathetic response to the Wildman kickstarter and think "man we need to get this made."
