Wait, batons to the head don't incapacitate but batons to the torso do?
I was having a lot of troubles trying to incapacitate with the baton from behind (which got me killed a lot of times).
The throwing knives do 40 damage (!!) on Master levels.
I think demolition is pretty much needed now. I couldn't even crouch to the gas grenade traps to disarm it in time.
-Throwing knives are awesome. I hope there's enough to last me throughout the game.
-Medicine level 1 doubled the amount of HP you get from medkits. That's so fucking useful and it makes me wonder how much I get from higher levels.
-Gibs are a serious performance hit. Thankfully they disappear.
Wouldn't making the multi tool ranged make the game easier?
Why: Lockpick & multitools cost the same, there are the same number of these tools across the game on average, and roughly the same number of hack/pickable devices too. However, multitools are slightly less worthy of investment due to the fact that by the time you are in reach of a camera, turret, alarm unit etc, you have usually overcome the threat they present (you are out of the turret or cameras FOV, you've cleaned out the place before reaching the alarm unit etc) so by making multitools a ranged tool balance will be achieved and infiltration would be more interesting, plus multitools are already wireless anyhow.
CyberP I completely disagree, and I think you have modders-syndrome. The desire to change everything, because you can.
The threat represented by hackable objects and locked objects is inherently different- the scenario you presented in your quoted post is based on a certain play-style that revolves around the clearing of areas of hostiles. I'm trying to alert you to a common modder problem: making the game easier. DE doesn't need to be easier, so please think about all your changes in the context of how they will affect playthroughs that don't involved just your style, but others which exist.
I'm worried you've gone to the deep end and are modding for modding's sake.
do you think you've netted a gain, or what?
So you're buffing a system to compensate for a buffed system? This is what I'm saying, you need restraint, not just turning everything up to 11. That ends in muchkin-land.Cameras are a pain in this ass, especially in the current build I am working on with the reduced alarm trigger time. Ranged multitools, if the player opts for it, will be empowerment they will not regret.
