Good gaming channels on Youtube?

Team Spooky and Team Spooky After Hours are good channels for fighting game tournaments. Most of the tournaments have entertaining commentary as it's often done by players who are between matches.

Team Spooky focuses more on Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 3 but depending on the tournament will have matches from other games. Spooky also occasionally does NES LPs and videos of him playing Magic the Gathering online.

Team Spooky After Hours while also focusing on Street Fighter and Marvel will also more frequently have Mortal Kombat X and anime fighters like Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

Another one I like is Maximillian Dood. Many of his videos are him playing fighting games online but he also does some fighting game news and rumours as well as breakdowns on individual characters. The games he currently focuses on are the Street Fighter V beta, MKX, and Killer Instinct. He also does Boss Rages which are pretty entertaining though he hasn't done a new one for a while now.

Yeah, his taste in modern games is pretty unmonocled to say the least. Sadly they're all like that, they claim to "really love the original Fallout games" (they be hardcore, yo) and then they praise beth's popamole in the next sentence.

Auld Dragon does a lot of old RPG's he has played the complete Gold Box series. He's currently playing Ultima VII part 2 Serpent Isle

My name is not Lilly was a great Youtuber who played through the Baldurs Gate series, Wasteland, Fallout 1, and pretty far into Fallout 2. Then he got a girlfriend who he quickly married and now he doesn't upload video's anymore.

Fallout 4 reviews

TL;DW: Likes it more than New Vegas but says the dialogue system is bad

TL;DW: It's buggy and he bashes it while still trying to find a silver lining

I guess Bunnyhop's review is as negative as you'll see from any popular site/channel, but still far more positive than the Codex consensus

Bunnyhop's video is like a template for any "self respecting" media review. Starts pointing out the bad, and I thought it was reasonable, but then talks about what he thinks it's good, and you can feel he drags the subject a bit, like if he really has to find more words to describe something that's essentially simple. That way, the viewer gets the notion that "hey, the game's nt so bad after all", but at the same time he could have been trying to protect himself from the Bethesda legions.

I don't really want to watch LGR's review. After he praised 3, I kind of lost a bit of respect for him... I do love his retrospectives on tech and his goodwill videos, though.

It's been known for a long time that he's a fan of 3. In his Top 17 PC games of 2000s Fallout 3 placed third (above Deus Ex and Morrowind), while he didn't even mention Fallout 1&2 in Top 17 PC games of 1990s. So no wonder he said something along the lines of "you'll be hardpressed to find anyone who likes the first Fallout the best". His expertise is obviously in computers, hardware history and "old" 80s/90s technology, his game reviews are much more shallow.

If anyone here who speaks German likes to watch let's plays I highly recommend GameTube.
No artificial childish fake bullshit, just four bros playing games (mostly two guys at a time).
I relly like them and met one of them in person after his band gave a concert. He's trve brah!

The scottish guy is my favourite even thought it's obvious he does not have a clue about rpgs, but at least he's honest in that he doesn't review much of them and when he does, like in the positive F4 review, openly sais that he doesn't give a shit. He still seems the best combo of experienced/intelligent gamer + hilarious.
The other one is the ''penguin'' something guy. Haven't cried that much since my mom died watching his stupid stunts and dead-pan commentary.

Everything else is either too stupid, too tryhard, weak language skills or plain sterile although if you want somewhat honest, but boring reviews of 3xA games this is seems p. decent https://www.youtube.com/user/Gggmanlives/videos

btw: there too damn many viyda gaem experts on net, especially youtube nowdays. An they get moneyz for that. FFS. Wont hide it, i envy them. Being unemployed fatass sitting all day playing games and then scrambling up some shitty video montage with drunken commentaries on them and getting fat money for this must be awesome. Every true codexer's dream.

He's great for the reviews of older FPS games, and he is pretty knowledgeable as far as 90s to early 00s shooters go (and not only shooters, he did a great retrospective on first three RE games that was completely free of that pretentious hipster "analysis" so many other YT "experts" love to do).
As far as recent games go... his tastes are on par with any IGN reviewer.

Yeah, that might be thruth. This is why i only occasionally watch youtubers that makes mickey out of the obvious shit games. Mack seems to be the best of them at the moment. Shame he's clueless about RPG genre as it seems.

The only one I could recommend without any reservations is Grimith: www.youtube.com/grimithr
I have particularly enjoyed his Hidden Agenda (1988) playthrough, where you must build/solve/maintain power and public support after toppling the previous corrupt tin-pot South American government.

Alter Ego (1986) where you make life choices from infancy through to old age.

Executive Suite (1982) where you try to climb the job ladder of a multinational, dealing with petty politics, accidents, and so forth.
