Building a new bunker has priority, I guess.

"Relocated to a new HQ", virtual radio silence on all of the internetz, final post made on VaultCo...

Something major happened.

Now that Grimoire is out in the wild and all scores are settled, it is time to seal the bunker from the inside forever* and go into full DEFCON 1 mode.

* until black mold forces him to resurface, scrap that one and start building yet another :negative:

...Even titanium bones can't survive that.

Clearly you have learned little from Texas Arcane's teachings.

Cleve will rise from the ashes of his bunker like a paranoid phoenix spreading greater incline than ever with his gilded wings.

What a catastrophe, indeed. A one-man independent studio produced this Wizardry 7/classic Might & Magic hybrid, which I'm enjoying the hell out of. I was able to get in a six hour session yesterday. What a joy to not have any forced narrative or hand-holding. Just exploration, fighting, leveling up and fighting some more. And party building! To have eight characters no less, watching them slowly develop with each small triumph and folly, until they coalesce into an effective unit worthy of Hyperborea's salvation. Grimoire puts every single mainstream modern rubbish "RPG" to shame.

You could probably make quite a good living working as a copywriter for Cleve, if you can track him down in the wreckage of his bunker.

If the writing in what passes for computer role-playing games these days can be likened to monkeys banging on typewriters (and I think it can) then Grimoire's writing is nothing short of soaring oratory.

On the Steam forums, he said the manual would be out before the end of November, and that V2 would be out before Christmas.

Rest assured, if I know anything about Cleve it's that his humility is matched only by his punctuality.

So is this game bad now? It was the second coming for the first 50 pages or something.
