Has brofisting always been with the forums since the beginning?

Codex History Question: the forums have been around for well over a decade now. But has brofisting in its current form been around since the beginning? Or was it a more banal "like" or "karma" system before it became the system we know and love today?

... and out of all the terms you could have used, including RPG-related ones, you chose the one associated with PewDiePie.

You can tell there weren't brofists in the past because a lot of older members don't have as many brofists as they should. There's a brofist deficit among older members.

The bro concept had been around before PDP, with Codex superstar and actually-quality-poster BLOBERT AKA Brobert.

Brofists are generally abundant for newsposters and shitposters, so why care?

We should come up with an algorithm to award old Codex members with additional brofists based on current brofisting trajectories.

Dex peaked sometime before mentally retarded gaylords like grunker and kikes appeared. No brofists needed.

Since you can win brofists by betting...

Hell, you can go double your fists right now, just signal to DU that you are betting on Trump becoming POTUS.

Watch as Greg Martin Enterprises uses all of its power to rig the USA elections so that Jill Stein wins and they make billions in brofists.
