You've never played World War 2 the way it was meant to be played... with lumbering tanks dominating the battlefield, crucial supply chains fueling the frontlines, being a cog in the machine of colossal combined arms warfare. Hell Let Loose puts you in the chaos of war, complete with deep player-controlled vehicles, a dynamically evolving frontline, and crucial platoon-focused gameplay that commands the tide of battle. This is a simulation of war... not an arcade arena shooter.

On paper, Hell Let Loose is a realistic multiplayer World War Two combined arms first person shooter of open battles of up to 100 players with infantry, tanks, artillery and a shifting front line. At it’s core is a unique resource-based strategic meta-game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

Built on Unreal Engine 4 for Windows and distributed via Steam, read on to discover why our World War Two title stands apart from the competition:

We’re removing all the modern gameplay incentives that we feel focus the entire experience back onto the individual. How many kills can you get? What perks did you unlock? Which gun did you unlock? How do you build a team-play based game on a foundation in which all players actively want to succeed alone? This seemed very counterintuitive to us, as successful warfare is waged only as a coordinated force.

Will you censor Nazi imagery?

Only in territories where the law states that we must. It is our goal to make an historically accurate game. As such, we will strive to capture the camo schemes, equipment, uniforms and weapons of each of the Wehrmacht and SS formations. We will be releasing a DLC that contains uncensored imagery for all appropriate territories.

Because we need more games with smaller and smaller playerbases so they die over and over like people under machinegun fire.
People either stick with Red Orchestra 2 or Days of Infamy because they have people to play with large enough to not scare away people from them for being "near abandoned".

"A simulation of war" - So you spend 30 minutes of gametime getting your team ready only to be sniped by some faggot Russian camper 5 minutes in?

Would be pretty interested in a Squad-like game with wwii flavor, but I'm fairly allergic to KS and it looks like they'll take in plenty of money anyway.

Stupid name - surely "Hell Unleashed" or "Hell on Earth" would have been better. "Hell let Loose" sounds like the Devil is going on a bender next Friday night.

I believe it was inspired by a famous non-fiction book.

People were looking at me like I was retarded when I suddenly burst out laughing in the library while reading this.

Hey faggots you wouldn't know incline if it struck you in the face with a 10 feet pole

it's PC only
it's a war simulation and not only a 16 vs 16 counter strike shooter

maps are 4km2, 1:1 real life recreation , 50 vs 50, there are zones with resources, munition stockpiles, fuel. Front not supplied will run out of ammo, tanks won't have fuel etc.

This is not another battlefield or red orchestra.

This game gonna be great, finaly a new idea for gameplay in the multiplayer shooter.

The front is not an abstract idea, it's an actual in-game mechanic with the resources

tentatively hopeful about this one

Games like this need good squad mechanics however to encourage people to play together and work as units, otherwise you just end up with red orchestra and thats not a good thing contrary to popular belief. From what I've seen so far they've looked to games like squad and project reality so that probably won't be a concern.

Front mechanics look good and are sorely needed for this type of game to prevent the red orchestra style smoke and suicide rush the caps to win, every round, every game.

That said, WW2 normandy is such an overplayed, exhausted and uninteresting setting. Its not like modern history is lacking in interesting locales where real wars took place to choose from, for fucks sake.

They have plans to add the Eastern Front, Market Garden, The Falaise Pocket and the Pacific.

Two of those are WW2 normandy.... Like, not even requiring new assets. Just a map pack innit

Some people just don't care about multiplayer shooters.

They're just not as fun, and requires you to play with random dickheads, since you live alone and haven't directly spoken to another human being in months. Like me.
