I hate to say it but this looks interesting enough for be to reinstall Skyrim. I enjoyed playing 'one life' games and modding the weapon damage x100 so it was perma kills. This looks like the kind of thing I'll like.

I was going to write, and had begun, a list of things that could or could not be improved with mods. As I thought about it, most of it came back negative.

Nothing short of total overhauls like Enderal will fix anything. And if you're going that route, you still have a janky, piece of shit foundation to build on.

So instead, play a game that isn't a Bethesda Game Studios game. You'll be happier. Bethesda is an infected limb and sepsis has set in.

Maybe Bethesda should remove the game element from TES 6 and build it entirely around modding?

Why? That's practically what modding already is in Bethesda games - replace everything.

I would only play Skyrim if there was a mod that restored player stats, and added some manner of depth. Either through stats or in the game play itself. Right now, I just can't stand it.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to add a conversation system like in Oblivion. Surprised nobody modded this in yet, but hey, once they got rid of stats like Charisma, they had to throw out so many other good things as well!

a good mod of the game would keep the graphics and mood in place while simply removing all the NPCs. this instantly cuts the majority of the game's annoying content and saves you from being disappointed by the game's ending sequence

You can't fix Skyrim, period. The code is FUBAR. Evidence? You still cant fix shadows, or z-flicker. As a matter of fact the vanilla game couldn't even use two cores initially.

Then he recommends hundreds of mods aimed at improving the graphics, adding more immersive flavor, and replacing and overhauling the systems Bethesda put in place.
