:flamesaw:

I'm trying to imagine the waves of butthurt and complaining this has caused. QL will be dead pretty quickly now.

Yeah, some anonymous text from pastebin, nice source.

QuakeLive was pretty dead anyway.

Wait, this is a joke right? Right? RIGHT?!

No way, this has to be some sort of trolling.

Not according to what they've said on their IRC channel:

More logs.

Even more logs.

I'd be glad if this really is a troll though...

CPMA was too good anyway, so switching to Quake Live was not justifiable, for me at least. They have though, a surrogate of CPMA physics, however, it feels clunky and slightly unresponsive for some reason and it requires a paid account of course. Can be enabled from console in practice mod for fooling around.

If someone was to make a pastebin with changes that contradict everything quake stands for, this would be that pastebin. It really seems like one big troll.

Never got into QL. I got to a point in Q3 where I was only playing mods anyways. Freezetag, Jailbreak, Urban Terror (I think).

Yeah I thought it was too, but the admins are saying it isn't on the IRC and are deleting every thread on the forums regarding the changes.

Oh fuck these guys have to be learning from the same book Game's Workshop is.
Are they trying to kill Quake Live to come out with some New Awesome n Streamlied Trv Arena Shooter Game they are working on?

Also, does this mean that Unreal Tournament has finally won the neverending argument between the fans? :troll:

-Weapon loadouts
-Universal ammo with much shorter respawn time
-A new, very OP hitscan machinegun
-Items with a visual timer
-Onscreen notifications of nearby important items (e.g. the Quad symbol in my second screenshot...)
-"Classic" mode is still present but AFAIK only the new popamole mode is ranked
...
