Hardcore casuals: The most extreme version of this individual is one whom plays Farmville/Candy Crush/Flappy Bird or some other such casual game but takes it to extreme levels: playing it day in, day out. Ignoring the existence of the thousands of other games out there. Purchasing energy hourly so that can keep on farming unhindered. They don't play a casual game casually, they play a casual game hardcore 'till their eyes bleed.

Next step up is Xbawks360 Achievement hunter types that buy shit modern garbage solely to farm achievements and boost their "gamerscore". They prioritize said score over the actual intended experience of the game, the entertainment it provides (or lack thereof), and with zero concern that their money is supporting the development and never ending cycle of shit games.

Do they really exist though (the hardcore casuals)? Aren't casual games, by design, meant to yield diminishing returns at a faster rate? I don't know of any. If so, they're probably children. But I get where you're coming from. I once had a terribad addiction to TF2's hat shit when they first came out. It doesn't take long to see how it can fuck up your health/wallet/life.

"Do they really exist though (the hardcore casuals)?"

Of course. The free to play model in particular is only sustainable, and highly successful, because of the many extremes of these types of people.

3 washed up developers sucking each other's wrinkly, half-hard chubs.

Sad!
