So it's going to be CoH with mechs?Sounds promising

Looks like it. It's exciting to see the Scythe game come to life. Though, I'm sure Iron Harvest will focus more on combat.

Im happy to hear they are taking inspiration from first Company of heroes, one of the best rts on the market in my opinion especially with some mods

It's coming for PS4, XboxOne and PC. It's smell hipsterish so I guess consoles first, in terms of control.
I experiences action RPGs that have borked controls beause they were designed for pads, so there is some space for fuckups, even in obvious, fukup-proof fields. Is the same thing happening in this RTS? You bet they test this project on pads because they have no space for testers for kb+m because only nerds and programmers use these peasant tools...

RTS made for shitpads tend to be unbearably slow and simplistic.

Here I thought it was already financed.

Agreed. I was pissed to see their "big announcement" was them just going on Kickstarter and asking people for more money. This means we'll need to wait even longer to play this.

Well, that is disappointing. I was hoping it would be more like Men of War... you know with real projectiles.

Well aparently they are doing what their player-base wants.

Wow at least some indies care what their target audience wants.

Personally, I really liked what I have seen before it was revealed that it's basically CoH in WW1 with mechs ;).

I personally find it funny that multiplayer for such a game is a "stretch goal". As if they would EVER release a Company of Heroes "clone" without multiplayer.

Surprising. I thought the RTS genre is mainly targeted towards multiplayer

One of the hosts of a recent episode of Polish gaming podcast Fantasmagieria claims that the game's budget is expected to be $5 million total, and that $1 million has already been spent. The rest will be coming from Kickstarter (as much as they can raise) and from a planned publisher deal.
