In my understanding, you had to actively Shill for Hill to go to prison With Her. Maybe that's where you failed.

Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post.

“It was like a f–ing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.

“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said.

“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.

Pretty speculative, but if it was like that, I wouldn't be surprised.

One thing you cannot accuse Trump of is not believing in his bs. If he believes the whole media is a conspiracy of liars, then that is how they will be treated.
Oh, well, just a small step from this to Chinese censorship. I give it 2-3 years.

People need to get rid of their delusional image of the media (particularly the american media) as heroic speakers of truth against power. Journalists are charlatans for the most part and always have been. I have no qualms with the white house press core being disbanded--might actually lead to a more free press if major news outlets are more distant from government power. If you want to see Chinese-style media collusion with government, look no further than the last eight years of Obama.
