This leaves them the option of developing some challenging content that tests specific skill sets. It's not a bad design decision in isolation but it needs to be backed up by level design.

Eh, aside from very much doubting their competence to do so, it trivializes party composition choice. And here is the likely reason for this change::M

I find the magnitude of the soldier slant really interesting. I suspected it, but not to be that high because nobody I know used it for a first playthrough. I wonder how much of that is due to it being the default option and how much of it is due to the names given to the other classes.

"I want to be a Space Dragon!"

Adept and Engineer make you weak at guns in a game that involves a lot of gun porn. It's pretty amazing that the Infiltrator and the Vanguard are as competitive as they are when choosing them locks you out of some of the guns.

I've always thought that soldier is there mostly beceause raw shooting class is tradition and noone actaully plays such boring shit. :?
BTW I remember reading on /r/masseffect that engineer is the most op class in ME2 and ME3

I played games in order M3 x2>ME1>ME2>ME3
When I first time played ME3 I had no idea what's the game about, so knowing it's RPG from well-known rpg maker Bioware, I assumed classes are important like in other RPGs, where choice for example between Thief and Warrior is crucial. Oh boy I was so wrong. Dissapointment I've endured when I realized that infiltrator isn't space thief, you can snipe only in actual combat, not from stealth, you can't hack anything (every class could so it doesn't count) and stealth is pretty useless - was heartbreaking.

Game limited to 1080p 30 fps on the ps4 pro... So much for "Bioware: you can't enjoy the trailer on an 1080p screen, you need 4k... Because this shit will look glorious in 4k on your amazeballs ps4 pro"

It's not just the loyalty missions, you have to care about the ship and upgrade it too. It's surprisingly detailed for a AAA game

My only argument is.. without the companion missions.. the game is like 3 hours long..
Too bad i only liked Legion out of the whole bunch.

legion was gay too. "I DONT UNDERSTAND THIS HUMAN CONCEPT OF RACISM, ALL RACES ARE EQUAL!"

Looks like they didn't try. BF1 and mirrors edge catalyst are both running on the same engine and are 60fps on the base PS4.

Don't worry about it, the eye cannot see faster than 30 fps anyway.
