Chaos Theory is better as a pure stealth game but Metal Gear Solids are not pure stealth games so it's a useless comparison. This should be blatantly obvious when the series is filled with boss battles that are usually straight up action & gunfights.

Yeah dunno they might be better stealth games but coming from Metal Gear i always thought the Splinter Cell games where fucking boring maybe it was the lack of over the top japanese shit.
Good gameplay > over the top Japanese shit. Kojima is a failed Tom Clancy, even Splinter cell had better writing.

If you examine individual elements of these games, you can always find other games that do them better. Metal Gear series is a mishmash of all kinds of wacky Western and Japanese elements and full of interesting, weird and easter eggish features and gameplay elements. It's also full of campy writing, dramatic and comedic stuff side by side and overcompensating amount of complexity in the plot. Metal Gear is the epitome of being more than the sum of its parts and that's why the fans like it. Not because it has the best stealth mechanics or the best gunplay, or the best writing or whatever, because it doesn't.

Your autistic need to judge it by your Western standards and compare its individual aspects with other stealth games makes it clear that you're not part of the target audience and you don't need to be. Just forget about this franchise and go play something else. Now stop it, faggot. You've already told us what you like and what you don't.

The type of stupid shit you MGS fanboys come up with is ridiculous.

Do you wish for your hairy balls to be lovingly cupped in a male bonding activity that is at once both titillating and yet also completely non-homosexual in nature?

NoTranq\NoKill run in 3-5 shows how deep MGS gameplay is.

In CT you just sit in the shadows and wait for window in patrol. The most broring ghosting in a stealth game i've ever had.
