Incline MMOs that track all progression with one character

I like when MMOs track all progression on a single character. Redoing things like unlocking waypoints or gathering faction reputation on a second character feels stupid. Additionally, with the time investment MMOs ask for it is nice to swap classes/roles for a change of pace without having to start from scratch.

Basically this thread is just a list of games with this mechanic. These are the ones I know of:

-Final Fantasy XI
-Final Fantasy XIV
-Skyforge

Hmm good question, besides the one you listed I haven't seen too many myself. I guess technically you can play any MMO with one character, but as you said you like switching around roles/builds without having to start anew.

The Secret World fits the criteria. It's pretty much intended to be played on a single character as you can pick the skills you use freely from the skill wheel and change them outside combat at any time. It still requires you to buy the skills with points gained by leveling up though.

The storylines do have minor differences between the three factions afaik, although I think it's mostly just different outfits and skill decks(collections of skills with an outfit as a reward that you gain when you finish the deck by buying the skills the deck needs from the skill wheel).

Dragon's Dogma Online allows you to swap classes freely, though each class counts levels separately (A good chunk of quests need to be "turned in" in town for the final XP bonus, so you can keep higher level quests mostly done for some easy levels)
