Well I'll be damned. That goes against pretty much every source out there I could find. The floppy disk version did NOT have the speech included - yet there's no other explanation as to why a game would ship on so many floppies.

Animated bitmap graphics can take a lot of space. (Well.. enough to fill 15 floppy disks...) But that's nothing compared to what full voice acting requires. Non-speech version is about 20 megabytes packed, speech-version seems to be around 220.

So they either had the world's worst compression program, or the floppy version had a fully-speeched intro. Probably both.
