    Just for kicks, some Aussie bloke decided to make <a href="http://csusap.csu.edu.au/~mloxto01/">a multiplayer mod</a> for <a href="http://www.elderscrolls.com">TES4: Oblivion</a>. It's very, very early in it's release, so don't expect too much at this time. Here's what not to expect:
    <br>
    <blockquote><b>What can't MultiTES4 do?</b>
    <br>
    <br>
    At the moment, the following haven't been implemented: time/day/year synchronisation, quest sharing, deathmatch, cell/world synchronisation, err pretty much everything else you can think of. Console commands aren't blocked, either is fast travel. Animations aren't shared, neither is inventories or attributes. I wasn't kidding when I said it was the basics.</blockquote>

    Deathmatch?

    Bathedasda, shame on you! Deathmatch-less FPS. Another thing fans have to do it.

    Btw. important news. :roll:

    We have to use the mod news tag for something. Yes, it's news, especially when you look at the list of things not included that he thinks should be included like the deathmatch.

    That's a pretty impressive mod, actually. I always wondered about these guys who just go into the guts of someone else's executable. Seems quite painful, even though I have lots of experience with assembly from back in the day.

    The new assembly instructions are also a pain in the ass.

    whats the point of playing an easily exploitable linear single-person central game multiplayer?

    just because you look First Person and its on a computer?

    I would think that in order for multiplayer to make any sense, the combat would have to not suck sweaty balls.

    *click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**quaff potion**click**click**click**click**click**click* "awright, he's almost dead!" *click**click**click**click* *opponent has disconnected* "dammit!"

    ....riveting....

    It's the only way you can get an opponent that isn't leveled to you.

    The only thing you'd know about swallowing is from the stills you've seen online.
