After years of playing Quake trilogy I found this, distributed as freeware stuff. It's like freeware Quake 3 Arena, based on the same engine, with similar physics and high Q3A mods/maps compatibility (Q2DM1 +CPMA, yeah!).

It may have that taste of poor man's version of original but so far it's pretty fun, just looks different (uglier, browner, lots of animu models/skins) and bots are dumber.

For old Quake veterans, how do you find this gaem after solid testing?

lol this is funny, I literally downloaded and tried this yesterday, it's deader than death, all servers are pretty much populated by bots only.
