Old characters are supposed to be good in terms of inclusiveness now? And if so, is Ana the ultimate hero of OW?

Soldier 76, Junkrat, Torbjorn and possibly Roadhog (hard to tell from the mask, but he is Australian) are all fucking white males. A full SJW OverWatch would have half or more of the European characters be blacks/browns.

Go watch the Reinhardt animated trailer. It's basically Triumph of the Will: Pixar Edition.

The point is that all the above mentioned characters are handicapped in some way - Soldier likely has a disfigured face beneath his mask, Junkrat is a cripple, Torbjorn - a dwarf, Roadhog - fat. Only McCree is a white male without any disability, even so he has a bionic arm which could put him into the "oppressed" category in some scenarios.

The biggest lesson this generation of games will have to learn the hard way is adding more shit to the game after a certain point only makes it worse and impossible to balance.

Yes but how will poor companies make money if they don't create more cool and edgy characters to sell more cosmetic skins? League of Legends did it by releasing dozens of unneeded, anime-inspired champions and people not only but their stuff but they even spend money for the actual heroes.

I agree but this bring up an important point I forgot to mention. MOBAs are uniquely equipped to deal with multitude of heroes by nature of their design. 1. Draft. 2. Items. 3. General type of game it is. Games try to copy mobas but forget that you have to design games from ground up with features that make it possible to have that much crap.

Overwatch for example is clearly failing because they didn't bother to ask themselves if their vision was realistic. At first they thought they could get away with having multiple of each hero and within a month of release realized it was wishful thinking and made single hero limit. However they are still stubborn to admit that having ult based on dmg/healing instead of static timer is inherently a really bad idea especially when you want to keep adding heroes. They are already removing healing building sombra ult paving a way hopefully to later realizing the whole idea is crap. Then they don't allow items or skill trees and instead of draft have people picking heroes at any time. Combined they made a bunch of hipster design decisions that are cringe level of building themselves into a balancing nightmare.

Or they do it on purpose, keep tinkering with balance for the rest of game's (not necessarily only Overwatch, any of their games) lifecycle to keep interest going. Apparently a well balanced game will become stale and eventually be forgotten, or so Blizztard thinks.

I mean sure thats fun to dick around casually but as serious mode 5v5 is a pretty good number where its not overly spammy and you focusing targets doesnt instantly blow them up.

8v8 probably, maybe 9. Of course everything then would have to be designed around that number.
