Total Conversion (mod) for the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Penumbra: Necrologue is a continuation of the Penumbra series made by Frictional Games. The game starts right where the last game in the series ended (Penumbra: Requiem). Join Philip in the last part of his journey as he tries to find the answers to everything he witnessed in Archaic Shelter while trying to stay alive from the many horrors that await him deep below the ice.

"...And only you decide what to do with this story."

Features
  • Amazing atmosphere exactly like the previous parts
  • Alternative playthroughs
  • Multiple endings
  • Voice acting in both English and Russian
  • Original soundtrack inspired by the previous work of Frictional Games composer Mikko Tarmia

Oooh.

Worth checking out I think.

Twilight of the Archaic» is a small add-on for Penumbra: Necrologue. This addition will be the final chapter in the story and will provide answers to the majority of questions that many people had after passing the main game. A lot of fresh and exciting ideas went into developing this new mod. You can expect some new features that will not only pleasantly surprise you, but will also make the gameplay much more diverse! http://www.moddb.com/mods/penumbra-twilight-of-the-archaic

What a total disappointment.

I'm a huge fan of the first two games in the Penumbra series too.

Necrologue has one checkered hallway after another, cluttered with the same 5 objects, largely devoid of anything except giant empty level map space.

There is not story, no atmosphere, no immersion.

Has anyone played Twilight of the Archaic yet? Is it any better than Necrologue?
