New rule: DU can arbitrate whether to unban a former codexer, IF a group of codexers with a sum total of posts equal or more than the total posts of the banned member are willing to sacrifice their accounts in order the sponsor the application.

If a sponsor, or a group of sponsors, has more posts than the banned codexer they are sponsoring, the relevant number of posts is subtracted from their account. If it goes over, enough sponsors are banned until they meet the required amount.

Sponsoring an application, and consequently being banned, in no way implies that DU will grant the application - you're trading your account/posts merely to have DU consider the application.

I'd support the fuck out of that. It's a nice merger of 'preserving the cosmic balance' and 'former comrade Trottsky is now the great enemy of the people'.

Would it even matter at this point? MHC had no interest in coming back once Codex had been purged from his system. Is Bruticis actually interested in posting here again, or would unbanning him be an empty gesture?

Yeah, your payment was from the old system and isn't in the new one, so the option doesn't appear. Removed it. If you want it back, you'll have to donate!

Glyphwright was given a simple task to complete and he'd be freed immediately. Make prosper brofist one of his posts of his own volition.

If he cannot complete such a simple quest, he doesn't really want to be freed.

Although slight correction, that was only the second of his #3 challenges.
