POE is undoubtely the most important thing happening this year , outshining anything released so far, generating the most butthurt .

However i find that the curator main page may be a bit biased ,does not reflect truly the people's opinion of the game, and could even mislead some and buy it at full price then be disapointed. Steam does not frown upon mixed reviews i dont see that incompatible with an honest curator page.
Even reading the steam forums, its not as positive as its expected to be for a baldur's gate spiritual successor .So here's the poll:

Yes, of course. It's fucking ridiculous that it links to the PrimeJunta review.

In fact this whole curator thing is ridiculous. At least it has a disclaimer I guess.

Thursday will be the most important thing happening this year.
Thursday Age of decadence ? No it wont be controversial, if you like turn based rpg its good(only demo experience). Not nearly enough hype either.

It will be the end of an era. A space will be left empty forever. Anybody who joined post 2007 p. much grew up with AoD.

No more AoD updates with the developers still licking their damn game. No more thursday jokes.

I think you can only link one review on that curator list. You may want to adjust the poll to which one it should be.

I don't mind the curator, but it's only fair to show both positive and negative reviews. You should know this if you love democracy and freedom, otherwise you're a filthy socialist.

That void can only be filled by AoD2.

I come to bury Roxors review, not to praise it;
The evil that men do lives after them,
The good is oft interred with their bones,
So let it be with Roxors review ... The noble Infinitron
Hath told you Roxor was unprofessional:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Roxors review answered it ...
Here, under leave of Infinitron and the rest,
(For Infinitron is an professional man;
So are they all; all professional men)
Come I to speak in Roxors reviews funeral, banished from curation ...
His review was humorous, faithful to Codexia and just to me, citing his criticisms:
But Infinitron says he was not professional;
And Infinitron is an professional man….
He hath brought many lulz and earnest discussion to Codexia,
Did Doritos litter Roxors pantry?
Did this in Roxor seem unprofessional?
When Codexians have cried in dissapointment at POE, Roxor hath wept:
Professionals should be made of sterner stuff:
Infinitron says he was unprofessional;
And Infinitron is an professional man.
You all did see that on the Codex
thrice after POE reviews came to take his crown,
As Prime Junta wailed and gnashed his teeth: was this professional?
Yet Infinitron says Roxor was unprofessional;
And, sure, he is an professional man.
I speak not to disprove what Infinitron spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love his review once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then to mourn for his review?
O judgement! thou art fled to infinite beasts of IGN and its ilk,
And men have lost their reason…. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Roxors review,
And I must pause till it come back to me

Alas, poor Decado. I knew him, Mortmal; a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy; his review hath made me laugh a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rises at it. Where be your gibes now? Your articles? Your analyses? Your praise for Pillars of Eternity that was wont to set the forums on a roar?

There is no Decado review. Carry on.

If I ever read reviews then I make sure that I read both positive and negative ones.

You mean both the FAKE SHILL CUCK and the TRYHARD EDGY WHINGER reviews.

I don't understand why is it so vital to have a review linked to the Curator page in the first place. It's a bit self-defeating. Steam people just want to see a list of games they should try next from Steam. They'll look in the Steam page for each individual game, and see the user reviews from there.

They don't give a shit about the Codex reviews, especially since we have long and detailed reviews with no scores at the end. If they care for that sort of shit, then they'll do so by simply visiting the website and forum in the first place. Then the list is mostly redundant for them.

Not to mention we're already putting games on that list without any reviews for them, so it's not like it makes a difference. Just avoid the drama altogether and then let the list speak for itself, the little text blurb is enough.

I completely forgot it honestly ...Guess it does not make a lasting impression , well codex is a prestigious magazines, only serious reviews are worth mentioning! Decado's review was jsut ana dvertisement, even prime junta does more effort than that to conceal it.

Nah, not really. Although, I don't personally follow Dex curation, it's often pretty hard to find general opinion on the game which boils down to is gud or is shit

Slight technical issue, I believe Steam only allows you to "officially" link one review with that little "link to review" thing at the end. Infinitron please confirm.

You can only link one review on the curator and the one linked has links to the other three.

I assume that a steam user checking out the Codex Curator about PoE should be intelligent enough to check out the other links once he starts reading the review provided he really wants to inform himself, but then again, maybe we should drop the pretense that this is about informing curious steam users and admit that its really just a petty feud about Codex drama and PoE butthurt.
