Hello

One man army here and I need some hits and blows (getting lonely on my blog).
Production started october 15 2012. Tracking at 1 map per day.

Character sprites should be a little larger, otherwise looks awesome.

You ARE going for party based, turnbased combat right? Not gay assed real time with pause??

What's the ruleset like? Class based hopefully with lots of cool classes, including dark classes like Blackguard, Deathknight, etc?

Is Vampire a race? (or class)?

How are you paying for this artwork and other stuff you will need?

Maps are looking great. Willing to share any more info on the project?

At the moment I am working on the maps and new art for the website (art mode).
Once I have the website looking respectable I will be posting up all the fun stuff (stats,spells).

My pet peeve of no visible light sources prevents me from further evaluation. I need some sconces, braziers, windows, or glowing magic orbs.

Damn, you work fast. Do you use prefabs or hand-model everything in 3ds Max Lightwave and do the textures etc. yourself?

I build everything bar a few models, but I prefer to make everything. I sometimes buy barrels and little things.
A new map will be put up today on my Blog.

Agree. Lighting will be done last.
So easy to chop and change lights so I don't hire 4 people on 50K each to do it.

Have you made some sort of wilderness areas too? Please post some, I like your "clean" way of doing the maps, so I'd be interested how you do forests or such for example!

Yeap getting the outdoor requests on another website as well :).
I have booked them in for next week.
For me they are harder at the moment.

TURN BASE all the way. Did any AAA dev hear that. oooo look Halo 45.5 and Cod 556 oooo and look at MMORPG I am melting nooo melting.

Yup, I figured you wanted to keep the placements flexible for now. I'm very keen on realistic lighting (and how fuckdark most interiors have always been until Edison) because of my love of thieves & stealth.

Funky lighting effects (20 minute job). This is more a example below as the coders and game engine would handle funky spells like this in real time.
Back to more important things like making more models ;).
