Sorry about the necro, but personally, I think we should remove the ability to brofist from all non-game related areas. No brofisting in politics, science, GD, etc, etc. There's a confederacy of retards who spam posts in some of these areas and all auto-brofist eachother. If brofists are to mean anything at all, then people should only be able to earn them from discussions about games. Otherwise, I think they should just be removed entirely.

They used to be game-forum only, but that changed for some reason. Nevertheless, they meant nothing then and they mean nothing now. Nothing important anyway. Even back then you'd get more posts for an edgy one-liner or a funny photoshop than a lengthy and well thought-out post about games. Which was good for me since I posted a lot of photoshops and one-liners, but the point is they have not, do not, and will not ever mean anything.

Codex 2012 Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
We should use a page from their book - since they are obviously the gd posters are obviously the blacks of the forums I propose the reinstallment of the Three-Fifths Compromise. Any five brofists gained in gd would only be worth three. It's traditional.
