Hey guys I feel like we're not really optimal with this trying to pin down what exactly each smilie means.

I heard in some parts of the world they use a different set of symbols they call the alphabet; supposedly it's like a combinatory thing were you string multiple symbols together to get an infinite amount of unique meanings.

I know it sounds completely crazy, but imagine, if we used words we could maybe unlock a universe of expressivity beyond our wildest dreams.

p.s. :M

I use this smilie to mean that I'm kinda trolling, but like also making use of satire somewhat, and kinda playful too. I chose this one instead of the one with the hat 'cause it's a bit too pretentious imo, and I want it all in good fun ya know? I was tempted to use the dog, cause he's like walking hastily towards nowhere, but I really didn't want to give off that excited vibe. Also I prefer cats. MJ might've fit, but a black guy wanting to be something else than he is? Please. Also, he isn't indifferent enough. The parrot is just the right kind of absurdity.

If I were to reshuffle them I'd put some of those in different places. Here's my suggestion:

what I changed:
rating_parrot.gif
as neutral, because it's just :M
Image1.jpg
as positive, because it's a kind of "like" button, you agree with the user's agenda post and support its statement (but
Image6.jpg
should remain neutral as disagreeing might not mean "dumb retard post" but also many other things, a different point of view is not necessarily an inferior one, albeit it might.
rating_agenda.png
as neutral, because the agenda can be positive, neutral or negative, however it's usually neutral as in case of liking or disliking one's agenda we already have brofists, shits etc
rating_racist.png
as neutral as it's not limited to just gassing jews and slavs, but it basically includes all kinds of racism and "racism" such as dislike of the current trend of muslimization of europe. just look at politics subforum how it's used. not always in a negative way, very often in a neutral way.
rating_oldman.png
as neutral. srsly of all places i'd expect codex to count it as positive, not a negative. Old might mean both out of date and classy, hence it should be considered neutral.
rating_negativeman.png
as neutral. I've never seen it used as a negative, I think. It just shows that one agrees with the post's negative viewpoint or considers something that the post mentions as a negative trend or event.

parrot and negative need to be neutral.

parrot is pretty much the definition of neutrality

Would be interesting to see who accumulates the most of each respective rating by the end of the year and mods could award them with a proper tag accordingly.
