Taken a few seconds after defeating a Death Rift Invasion, and therefore missing all the interesting visuals :smug:

Trying ArmA again to see if it's been fixed. Surprise, it hasn't been.

Despite forcing 8xAA in CCC and setting high antialiasing on my W7 DX11 computar, there are still jaggies everywhere. And look at those fucking shadows. What the fuck.

AMAZING GRAFIX. Totally worth the fucking lag and 25 fps. By the way, why does ArmA always run at 25 fps? Doesn't matter if you run it on a pentium 2 or an i7, it's always fucking 25 fps.

Why am not in the tank? Good question! Because I was fucking forcefully ejected in the middle of the mission. Fucking piece of shit fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

It's not fixed, but they made some minor improvements in a patch called ARMA 2 :smug:

This is a great dungeon in Arx Fatalis called just The Crypt. Atmosphere is superb, the closest to a Thiefy experience one can get with an aRPG.

And a nice corridor in the Snake kingdom:

Too bad I'm about to finish the game, it was a great journey. Despite the problems (unbelievably picky drawing recognition in the magic system, scale sometimes is as small as a NES Final Fantasy town with shops and just one house, etc), I loved it.

I-War 1 with the dgvoodoo glide wrapper. Unfortunately it crashes when I try to dock to anything. Apparently it's a Radeon thing. Fucking ATI :x

Stunts is brilliant. Save for Carmageddon, I've yet to find a racing game that matches it in the 20+ years since its release.

Spellcaster: Arx was a bit of a strange experience for me. A good part of the game feels like Ultima Underworld 3, then The Crypt feels like Thief, and then there's the 8th level which feels like Resident Evil or something. As for the snakewomen, I loved the tiny little detail of their language; it's the Lizardman language from Ultima Underworld.

Oh yes it's definitely a brilliant game, Carmageddon, Test Drive II and Stunts are among the few racing games I enjoy and still play every few months.

I only "recently" discovered an eerily similar game that was released around the same time.

Not sure why I had never heard of this before or why none of my friends played this game back in the day, perhaps it was just not popular in Europe...
