This Episode 2 replacement is called Return to Hadron Episode 2 - The Collider's new clothes. The first 5 or 6 maps are almost Paul Corfiatis-tier. The last few maps were much too slaughtery for me but they were still alright in co-op mode (endless respawns, respawning ammo,...).

Unfortunately though, there seems to be a lot of greifers and assholes that bought the game for some unknown reason. So at the start there is a fairly large risk that you will be team-killed and just have your ship blown up by some idiots. Real shame, but I guess it will get better when they have some actual admins on the servers.

HL: Residual Life. After refreshing this mod, I actually was reminded that this is actually a sequel / alternative version to much bigger Residual Point. Those alien marines are really tough to beat, and we are constantly fighting black ops squads as well. Shame that it ends so abruptly without any proper ending.

Recently played the Pride Trilogy of user made maps for HoMM 3, of which Devilish Pride was the third and hardest one.
Quite elaborate maps that together form one huge map, with clever use of artefacts, skills and spells and co-operation of heroes.
There is an ongoing story where your own heroes in one map will be enemies in the next and vice versa. The Big Bad in the first map is Xyron. In the third map he's your main hero, and he's a real piece of work. How the Hell can he do this to my favourite female HoMM 3 hero?
