Looks like this has more effort than the late indie games put in it, just by the art I want to play it.
You should try free demo, the game is top-notch imo:

Gonna do it, I'm glad there are still demos for games out there
loading times are through the roof, etc.

That's how the final game is too.

Best game i played in 2015.
The progression through investigation is among the best in the genre, the setting is solid and doesn't pretend to be what it's not (unlike a shit ton of games, it doesn't suffer from any "indie complex"). Combat was meh though.
Where are the current results?AoD, Underrail, SitS in the Codex Top 3 from 2015, Voidspire Tactics 4th.
Just FYI Joe and Hannah from Whalenought will be on the show again this Saturday afternoon talking about the SitS expansion and their new Copper Dreams game.

Shane, grill them on the combat system and whether it's truly turn-based. Let them know of Codex's displeasure if they give the wrong answer. The whole time-based thing sounds like it could provoke frustration if not handled correctly.
is the zooming out option in the game?
I finally took the courage to play this game. It's pretty good but would be so much more enjoyable if it was TB instead of RTwP.
Devs who make party-based isometric RPGs with RTwP combat must have brain damage. When are they gonna realize this is not a suitable mechanic for this kind of game?
For SitS, you can hit "M" for map and get a zoomed out overhead view. It's not traditional zoom in / zoom out however.

"I play on a 1920x1080 monitor but its too pixelated and everything seems too big.
I tried to play windowed but I hate to see the window border.
1920x1080 outline^
this is the perfect zoom out for a monitor with a native resolution of 1920x1080.
the resolution of the game window in the picture I posted is 1920x847
when changing the shape of the window, there are three levels of zooming (in or out) that the game autoselects.
It would be nice if we would have an option to select this level of zooming out in fullscreen or borderless window at least.
^This was the message I posted months ago and the developer said he would look into it.
