Flag to play outro (end.dat) is file with name "42" and content "3".
Just create this file in Shadowcaster's directory and run shadow.bat. On exit you will see endscene.
Or just create file and run DOS4GW.EXE ADPLAY.EXE END.DAT.

You kind of have to play these games at around the time when they were released to truly enjoy them. It was good fun for the time. Also had a kick ass opening cutscene.
See the man understands, but yes at that time you played what you got your hands on. And I still think SVGA/VGA games have some of the best game art. I recall also first time playing Ravenloft and Privateer at that time.
