Release date is August 31. $30 price tag - ambitious.
I'm not sure what's going on. It's like you said. The thing is that the only price on Steam is the same price as GOG. It'll probably get fixed within days, or maybe this is the only version for sale. The $30 seems like it's for the Deluxe Edition only according to Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/346940/
Hmmm.

For a limited time before the release of Shadowrun: Hong Kong, get the Deluxe Edition with mp3 original soundtrack and PDF Art of Shadowrun: Hong Kong book included for the same price as the standard version!
THe expansion? Will the deluxe edition also include the dlc?
I thought Director's Cut was already an expansion to returns.Maybe this was asked but why is this a separate game instead of an expansion for director's cut?

Because expansion means expansion pricingMaybe this was asked but why is this a separate game instead of an expansion for director's cut?
Hong Kong seems to be about as much of an expansion pack as New Vegas was for Fallout 3.Maybe this was asked but why is this a separate game instead of an expansion for director's cut?
Also Scrooge , wrong thread?
Wasn't Dragonfall the same way?Hong Kong seems to be about as much of an expansion pack as New Vegas was for Fallout 3.
Then it's this:I guess because they are also overhauling the engine (it's pc-only this time around, no tablet baggage) and expanding key gameplay elements.
Because expansion means expansion pricing
Wouldn't it have made more marketing sense to name this Shadowrun 2: Hong Kong?
Or if you want to be awful, Shadowrun Returns 2 Hong Kong.
