I hope someone starts posting from Lyric Suit and Lycra Suite accounts.

Also, as per ancient codexian tradition, he who makes a thread demanding a ban of another poster, but fails to gather enough yes votes, must himself be banned.

For justice and honor.

Hold on right there buckaroo.

While the topic title asks if Lycra Suit should be banned, there is no mention from myself demanding that he should be banned. Quite the contrary.

I made this topic to get a censuses of what others thought, not an attempt to seek support or impose my own personal desires. I made this topic only due to the sheer controversy and drama Lycra Suit has caused.

He probably isn't ban worthy to be quite honest but I was curious all the same.

As for how I voted:

I voted yes, lulz

Funny how the cringe-right reacts when a liberal performs reverse trolling on them.

"How come I can't be an inflammatory provocateur and racist piece of shit on other websites? Libtards and their safe spaces ruin everything."
*5 min later*
"waaaaaaah waaaaaah please ban that libtard from my safe space"

:hmmm:

To be perfectly fair I said 4chan in that other thread but you could very well be coming from a place like this

Which is pretty much the same thing really minus the child pornography maybe.

the problem isn't that you were (attempting) trolling, the problem is that you suck at it and you're generally an unfunny wet blanket of a cunt

There's a vast difference between piling on to call someone a cunt, when they're acting like a cunt, and wanting to ruin them completely, or silence them. I think you're a total spastic, but I wish you no real harm. That's one of the main fucking differences as I see it. I'm defintely right-leaning, but I have just as much disdain for any over-zealous idealogue from any belief.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
I voted "yes" (via rating), but keep in mind I have nothing against the user in question except that they're impersonating another user, and a well-established one at that.

I'm no Lyric Suite fanboy, my reasoning is based on my own humble origins here on the Codex. When I signed up 9+ years ago Spacemoose was literally running rampant on the forum, creating mockery alts seemingly left and right, and made a mock alt of me within 24 hours of me having signed up and posted. This led everyone to believe that both me AND the mock account were just Spacemoose alts, so I got in touch with DarkUnderlord and told him of my predicament, and that I was not a joke or throwaway alt. DU banned my mock account, and Spacemoose either gave up or got banned some time afterwards. At least then I had a chance to establish some 'street cred'... even though that took years and a lot of abuse (thanks guys).

As a result I have issues with mock accounts, especially unfunny ones, which Lycra Suit has proven to be on numerous occasions.

If this is an alt, ban it. If it's not, offer them a chance to change their ways, their username and their avatar, or ban them otherwise. That's what I'd do if I was in DU's shoes.

What? Is he supposed to be an ideological ring leader around here?

I'm sure you'd love to think so, but no, he's just a person who doesn't embody the concepts of butthurt and shitposting

You keep bringing this back to ideology, because you WANT to believe you're being shat on for your ideology so you can proclaim martyrdom when in fact you're being shat on because you're a low-effort troll and a low-value shitposter with a terminal case of rectal inflammation
