Am i the only one who see all the bars in the poll of the same lenght?
Nope, go back a page.

And while all this incline is good, I think RPGs are still stuck in very generic settings. I mean, how many post-apocs between this year and last? Not to mention high-fantasy. AoD is the biggest incline because it succedes in breaking free of the generic worlds of rpg, not just age/setting but also changing the standard of RPGs by focusing less on combat and dungeons and story and focusing more on surviving by means of your background skills and occupation. It makes you feel very restricted yet very free at the same time.

I'm not sure what else you're expecting to see in a thread about a combat game! But feel free to go there and ask.

It looks like Shadowrun Hong Kong isn't huge compared to AoD and TTON. I've never played Shadowrun, so I'm wondering if I should try it. I know it's very linear, which sucks, but still a lot of people seemed to like the expansion. Hong Kong is an awesome setting too.

It's not really an expansion, more like a second full campaign. No reason to play the base game.

You better have a good excuse if you plan to NOT play the base game.
Like sickness, work oversee, lack of computer/tablet, having been assaulted by a disfigured elf etc...

Yeah so I have no idea about whether any game is shit because I've barely finished any one, let alone more than once.

In order to say if it is shit or not, you have to actually play it, so it doesn't work.

You must be new here. In order to know if a game is shit or not, you must play it seven times.

You mean finish it seven time or launch it seven times ?
I launched Baldur's gate a bunch of time over years, but still haven't finished it...

You must fully play a game SEVEN TIMES before you can call a game shit.

It is a Codex Tradition™. Learn your codex history ffs.

In 1992, Ultima Underworld changed the rules of what a fantasy RPG could be. It introduced the concept of 3D immersion, a player-authored experience, and a richly dynamic world to explore. Its influence led to a whole generation of games such as (...) BioShock, Skyrim, and Dragon Age.
Thanks, Ultima Underworld! :troll:

I don't see any Kickstarter for that.
